The Gospel Is Our Lifeblood

This is perhaps my favorite study. The Gospel is the lifeblood for the Christian life. It is the power of God for salvation to those who believe. The message of the Gospel is simple and powerful, yet it has often times been tragically distorted, oversimplified, neglected, misunderstood, etc. It grieves me that there are so many people who can go to a church for years or have Christians in their lives yet never actually hear or understand the gospel. We need to know what the true biblical gospel is and defend it. We need to know, understand, adore, communicate, share, and defend the Gospel. I cannot stress this significance more. The book of Romans gives such a succinct portrayal of the Gospel message. It doesn't shy away from revealing the problem of sin, depravity of the human condition, and wrath of God against unrighteousness. When we understand the bad news, we can then understand why the Gospel is good news. Romans is a powerful proclamation of the Gospel.

Love it

Much bigger study than I had expected. Bought this for my father for his birthday and I love it already. I know he will as well.
