Multiple Daily Grace Studies in a woven basket

February 2026 Bible Study and Book Picks

One of my favorite hymns is “In the Bleak Midwinter.” The hymn creates a scene of a cold, frozen world, where the earth has turned to hard iron. Then, in the ice cold, the Son of God broke forth.

Though the Christmas season is now behind us and the Lenten season is nearing as the northern hemisphere remains frozen, we can be reminded of the Light that warms us all. As such, February is the perfect time of year to settle in on the couch with a hot cup of tea and be reminded through good books and Bible studies of the God who broke through this spiritually frozen world and brought forth a Light that would change us all.
