I’m a social worker with my local police department and I counsel a lot of mothers who’ve lost their kids to gun violence. I really wanted to have a deeper understanding of how God relates to our suffering and how I could support my clients. This study helped me have fruitful and healing conversations with the mothers I counsel ❤️

I’m apart of a Bible study with about 9 other women and we have been loving this study! It’s easy to follow and provides so many other scriptures and background history to research. Highly recommend!!

I bought this study a few months ago, but I decided to do it in November as a lead up to Advent season. I thought studying how Jesus is the source of joy would be a great intro into Advent, and it has been. The study is encouraging and thought provoking.

would definitely recommend using, I have the older paper version and use a ball point pen to make notes but the study is good.

I had this book on my "wish list" knowing I needed it to delve into the subject of SUFFERING. I have dealt with physical suffering for most of my life due to several chronic illnesses ... I know that my strength in the Lord has brought me through many rough times. This has been a great reference {and comfort} in helping me understand suffering & has helped me through on my hard days. It may not take away suffering, but it surely helps me deal with suffering. I recommend it as an addition to your "library" of spiritual helpmates!! As always ... thank you for such a great booklet, Daily Grace Co ... you have come through again!!

Just started reading the “how to get started” and the words are powerful even before I began

I love to purchase gift cards for friends who participate in my monthly study group. It’s a fun way to encourage daily bible reading and provide the financial support to do so!

I was given this last year for Christmas. After going through it I began working on the goals I had and let me tell you I feel like a completely new person! The questions helped guide me to make big decisions in my life, it was easy to make them knowing that this is what I feel called to. I bought a few extra to give away. And now I need more to give away and for myself this new year!

I feel so connected to the Word with this Bible study, its easy to follow and answered of a lot of my questions. Highly recommend!!!!

I have been starting to dive into Theology and this book so far has been a great resource for laying a foundation of what there is to know.
I will say however, during the study of the Canon of scripture I got a little confused regarding a detail that wasn’t included. It stated those 66 books of the Bible were canonized in 393 and 397 AD. This is true except for the fact that it was originally 73 books and then later, during the Protestant reformation in 1517, that the Bible was changed to 66. As I looked for other information on the canonization of scripture I found this fact out and was disappointed it wasn’t included in the book and kind of confused me that it wasn’t.
This does make me want to learn more about the Protestant reformation now though and see what other changes occurred so I guess this book is doing its job at making me learn more lol! About halfway through and looking forward to the rest :)
