What freedom, peace, confidence and stability I have knowing who I am because of WHOSE I am! I intend to pass this book along after reading simply because Christians need to be reminded of our secure identity in Christ regardless of what our feelings, culture, experiences, earthly relationships and circumstances may tell us!

I appreciate that DGC decided to collate all the online articles about how God’s faithfulness affects our daily faithfulness in one beautifully presented book! I cannot wait to jump into it!

I am yet to read through “What A Friend We Have in Jesus” however a quick glance over the table of contents is enough for me to know that this collection of essays will offer a biblically encouraging look at our friendship with Christ and others. I also appreciate the beautiful hardback book that the essays are presented in.

I was actually doing a study on Amos, but felt led (because Amos kept pointing to Romans) to go do this study. I am on week 2 and I appreciate how this study forces you to really think and chew on the scripture, points to other bible passages, and includes some quotes that tie in that other Christians have said in the past related to the topic reminding me that many before me have read these same pages and been radically changed through the gospel. It's been very helpful for me, someone who like many others really struggle with wanting to place my faith in how good I can be and works but instead we find Paul gently guiding us and reminding us (Jew & Gentile) through our sin problem and the only resolution (Jesus.)

Search the Word has been great for my Bible study time. I’m only in week one, but the daily lessons are so informative!

So far this study has been very good! I like how the questions always relate back to our faith and pointing towards Jesus as our Savior. It’s been refreshing to read the beginning of scripture and follow through it’s history
