On today’s episode, we are joined by three very special guests from the worship group, City Alight. They graciously walk us through the song “Come Thou Long Expected Jesus”, which is a cherished Advent hymn. Though it is a simple song consisting of only two verses, it is saturated in Scripture and beautifully points us to the hope of Christ. Across the world, believers can pray this song together. Even now, we present this petition before the Lord: “Come, Lord Jesus”. As Christmas is just a few days away, we rejoice in the truth that Christ came, just as He said He would. But we also lean into the deep longing of our hearts for Him to come again and consummate His Kingdom. Come join our conversation!
