Engaging with Our Emotions in a Healthy Way with Courtney Reissig | Ep. 82
On today’s episode, we are joined by Courtney Reissig, and we talk about feelings. Feelings can be complicated. Even within Christian circles, we can get mixed messages about how we should deal with our emotions. In this episode, we talk about how believers can engage with their emotions in a healthy and biblical way. We talk at length about the harder feelings we experience in life--despair, grief, anxiety, loneliness, and more. Courtney reminds us that we can go to God’s Word and allow Scripture to inform our feelings and actually shape our feelings. She encourages us with the truth that we should feel something about the brokenness of this world! We don’t have to stuff our feelings or feel enslaved by them! Even when it comes to hard feelings and various emotions, we can balance the head and the heart and engage with them in a healthy way. Come join our conversation.
