On today’s episode, we are joined by Kristen Wetherell, and she talks to us about our fears and how we can fight our fears, no matter what they may be. Fear is not new, but right now, many of us are experiencing a heightened sense of fear and anxiety. As Christians, we can sometimes respond to our fears by wishing them away, thinking that our fears reveal a weak faith. We can feel like a not-good-enough Christian because of our fears and anxiety because we remember verses like “do not be afraid” or “do not be anxious”. However, Kristen reminds us that when we know the heart and character of God, we don’t have to fight our fears that way. Instead, we are invited to trust Him and believe that He is for us. In this episode, Kristen graciously walks us through how we can fight our fears in a healthy, practical way. She covers a wide variety of fears, such as fears over sickness and death, not having what we need, and things that can really happen to us on this side of heaven.
