Overcoming Insecurities with Phylicia Masonheimer | Ep. 66

Overcoming Insecurities with Phylicia Masonheimer | Ep. 66

Episode 66

On today’s episode, we are joined by Phylicia Masonheimer. Phylicia is a Bible teacher, podcast host, and author of the book Stop Calling Me Beautiful. She calls herself a public theologian--she is passionate about discussing how theology intersects with cultural issues in the public sphere. Today, she talks to us about common insecurities that Christian women face. She talks about why our culture’s solution to overcoming insecurities doesn’t get to the root of the problem. Ever wonder why self-help books keep getting published? There is a better way, and yes, we can actually walk in freedom from our insecurities!

We go to God’s Word and discuss how Jesus is the answer. He has made for us to overcome our insecurities, and as we continue walking with Him daily, we can continue walking in true freedom. In this episode, Phylicia shares personal examples of how this can look--she gets really practical about how this can look! Come join our conversation!
