Talking about our hearts and the desires of our hearts can feel tricky. Some people say, “Follow your heart!” while others tell you to never trust your heart and its desires. Some world religions even make it their aim to extinguish the desires of the heart! This is because we know that our desires are not often pure. They can be distorted, self-serving, and frankly, sinful. But how do we go about them? God made us longing creatures, which means we all have desires by nature! In this episode, we talk about how desires can go wrong, and how we can go about them in the way God intended.
