I've been doing this study with my 3 kids (ages 4, 6, and 11). The 4yo has a bit of trouble keeping up, but overall it's a good fit. The devotions are short enough to hold their attention, and the questions are a decent mix of straightforward and "thinkers." Many of them ask us to brainstorm as a family how we can apply a truth from the verses. The prayer prompts are a helpful tie-in to the verses also.

Great Lent study for kids

My family loves the Daily Grace family devotionals

I have three daughters (7, 5, and 5) and the Daily Grace family devotionals have been a great fit for our family. We read a little bit each evening at the dinner table and the kids look forward to it! The "Jesus Makes Me New" study has a reading plan for lent, but you can do it any time. I like that it includes memory verses, Bible readings, short reflections on the reading and prompts for discussion and prayer. We can modify it to be quick and simple, or to dig in deeper depending on how attentive our kids are on a given day. It's perfect for consistency and even young kids retain a ton of great truth about God and His Word. Our family is grateful for The Daily Grace and all of the family devotionals.

Great little book

We have a preteen, and we recently just started family devotions. This little book is so great on its own, and in addition to our other study guides. Short, sweet, to the point, and opens up a lot of opportunities for great discussions!
