Gospel Friendship with Kelly Needham | Ep. 31
On today’s episode, we chat with Kelly Needham about friendships. Kelly recently wrote a book called, Friendish: Reclaiming Real Friendship in a Culture of Confusion, and it’s obvious that she is passionate about helping women experience authentic friendships. We know we’re made for real connections; we feel a deep longing for gospel-centered friendships. But we find ourselves disappointed or lonely. We may even feel Scripture is a bit elusive on the topic of friendship. We aren’t quite sure what it means to have a biblical understanding of friendship. The world says real friendship alleviates loneliness and offers a place of belonging and security. What’s wrong with that? And isn’t it right to avoid conflict at all cost? Kelly walks us through these different ideas and helps us understand God’s good design for our friendships. She also gives practical advice on how we can experience the joy of authentic, gospel-centered friendships, too!
