Where is God in the midst of my suffering? Does He see me? Does He hear me?
God is with you. He sees you, and He hears your prayers. In fact, God is present in every single detail of your life. The book of Job teaches us about God’s sovereign control of both good and evil. Through this study, you will learn that God is worthy of our praise in all seasons — even the most difficult ones.
- Help you understand key attributes of God: His sovereignty, His justice, and His compassion for those in pain.
- Open your eyes to the hope of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection for the sufferer. He is the suffering servant who sympathizes with us in our weakness yet reigns as King forever in heaven.
- Give you a gospel-centered perspective on suffering and its role in your faith journey.
- Teach you to bring your doubts, your fears, and your questions to God.
