The study that this group leader guide accompanies will help you meditate on one major aspect of Advent: Christ’s incarnation — the powerful moment when Jesus, the Son of God, took on flesh and became human.

Jesus is the Word made flesh: our God with us. Throughout the four weeks of this Advent season, you will explore how God made His presence known to His people throughout history and what Christ’s incarnation means for our experience of God’s presence today. 

Our desire is that the truth of the incarnation would not be just a theological concept we know in our minds but also a truth we treasure in our hearts. After all, Christ’s coming to be with us is something that truly awakens our wonder.
