I’ve been shopping with The Daily Grace Co. for years, so writing this review is disappointing. The journal itself is well-made, and the quality is what I’ve come to expect. However, the cover color was not what I expected based on the website photos.

The product listing appeared to show a dusty blush or dusty rose pink, but the journal I received looks much more taupe or brown in person. I specifically chose this journal because I wanted a pink cover. I reached out to customer service with photos, but they said the difference was due to lighting and screen settings and would not allow a return because all sales are final.

If color matters to you, I recommend keeping in mind that the journal may look much browner in person than it does online. This is on top of my pink desk pad for reference. After this experience, I’m leery about ordering products based solely on the website photos, even though I’ve been a longtime customer. I hope the company either updates the product photos to reflect the actual color better or considers making exceptions when a product’s appearance doesn’t match customers’ expectations

I really like this journal because it's exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that wasn't pre-guided with Scripture so I could study and organize my notes in my own way. There's plenty of space to write, and you can set it up however works best for you—by Gospel, book of the Bible, theme, sermon notes, or as you read. The cover design is beautiful, and I really appreciate that it's hardcover because it helps protect the journal from everyday wear and tear. I like the journal so much I ordered another one. If you prefer flexibility in your Bible study or if you are a beginner to studying the Bible, this is the perfect journal!
