On today’s episode, we talk about the Holy Spirit. We have the amazing gift of the Spirit, but many of us are unclear on what the Spirit actually does. We’re not sure what the role of the Spirit is in the lives of believers today. Some people overemphasize the gifts of the Spirit and can even attribute things that are untrue of Him. Others neglect the Spirit, forgetting the Third Person of theTrinity! If we’re not careful, we can misplace where we put our value. When we don’t have a biblical vision and understanding of the Holy Spirit, we miss out on what He has to offer us and fail to ascribe Him the honor and worship He rightfully deserves.
In this episode, we go to Scripture to uncover the beautiful vision of the Holy Spirit. We see how the Spirit is fully God, yet He has a distinct role in the lives of believers and in the world. We discuss the many roles of the Spirit, and then we talk about how we can respond. We talk about what it means to be filled by the Spirit and walk in step with the Spirit today.
