Which Year-Long Bible Study is Right for Me?

Our mission at the Daily Grace Co. is to equip disciples in the Word, and one of our favorite ways of doing this is through our year-long Bible studies. Year-long studies enable you to read God’s Word every day, and some even take you through the entire Bible. Perhaps you have participated in some of these studies before and want to do more, or maybe you’ve seen them on our site and are contemplating doing a year-long study for the first time. But which one is right for you in this season? Let’s take a look at each one of our year-long studies and learn how each one could benefit you.

Year - long studies help you read God’s Word every day | TDGC

Story of Redemption

Do you want to read the whole Bible in a year for the very first time? Or do you want to read the Bible in a year again but with some helpful content to deepen your understanding of what you read? Then The Story of Redemption study is for you! The Story of Redemption walks you through the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. This study is meant to help you see how God’s story of redemption unfolds throughout all of Scripture and how what He promised and planned in the Old Testament is fulfilled through Christ in the New Testament. This study makes reading the Bible in a year feel attainable, as you read just three chapters each day. And the summary that goes along with each day’s Scripture is short enough to fit into a busy day while also remaining insightful, enabling you to go a little deeper into what you read that day!

Eden to Eternity

Have you read the Bible in a year before but want to read it again from a new perspective? Are you curious about how the events of Scripture occurred throughout history? Then Eden to Eternity is a great choice! Eden to Eternity is a study that walks you through the entire Bible chronologically. So rather than reading the Bible how it is arranged canonically, the readings are arranged in such a way that you can read Scripture in historical order. This brings a unique perspective to reading the Bible as it provides more of a historical approach and helps you see and understand how biblical events unfolded in real time. Like The Story of Redemption, Eden to Eternity has about three chapters a day to read, as well as a summary of the chapters to go along with the readings

Behold

Do you want to read the Bible every day but don’t want to commit to reading the Bible in a year just yet? Does the New Testament feel more approachable to you than the Old Testament? Behold might be just what you need! Behold is a study that walks you through the entire New Testament in one year. This allows you to read the New Testament slowly and take your time meditating on who Jesus is, what He accomplished, and how we are to live in light of the gospel. What makes Behold particularly attainable in your year-long Bible reading goals is that you read just one chapter a day. Because the daily reading is just one chapter, the content that goes along with each chapter helps you go deeper into the text and gain more understanding of what you read that day

Christ in All of Scripture

Have you done our year-long studies and want something new? Are you looking for more of an interactive approach to reading the Bible in a year? Then Christ in All of Scripture is just what you need! Christ in All of Scripture is unlike any other year-long study that we’ve done before. Rather than reading one or multiple chapters a day, this study has you read one Old Testament and one New Testament passage a week. The purpose of this format is to show you that Jesus is on every page of the Bible and how the Old Testament not only connects to the New Testament, but how it is ultimately fulfilled by Christ. By reading just two passages over the course of the week, you can take your time meditating on these passages and what they teach about Christ. Not only this, but there are annotation days built into each week, which allow you to make observations about the passages yourself before diving deeper into what they mean and how to apply them. If any of these studies sound appealing to you as you prepare for the next year, head to our website to purchase a set for yourself. It’s our prayer that through whatever year-long study you choose, you will grow in your love for God and His Word and form a regular rhythm of joyful Bible study.
