Which Year-Long Bible Study is Right for Me?

Our mission at the Daily Grace Co. is to equip disciples in the Word, and one of our favorite ways of doing this is through our year-long Bible studies. Year-long studies enable you to read God’s Word every day, and some even take you through the entire Bible. Perhaps you have participated in some of these studies before and want to do more, or maybe you’ve seen them on our site and are contemplating doing a year-long study for the first time. But which one is right for you in this season? Let’s take a look at our year-long studies and learn how each one could benefit you.

A Year in the Bible Bundle | TDGC

A Year in the Bible

Do you want to read through the Bible cover to cover? Are you interested in seeing how the same themes are woven throughout the whole Bible from Genesis all the way to Revelation? Then our newest year-long study, A Year in the Bible is perfect for you. A Year in the Bible walks you through the entire Bible canonically (in the order it appears in your Bible) in 365 days.

This study takes you deeper into the whole biblical story by tracing five major themes through every chapter in every book: God’s people, God’s presence, God’s provision, God’s promises, and God’s power. By tracing these themes throughout Scripture, we will see how they tie the entire biblical story together and all point to Jesus. This study is accessible enough for the person who has never read the Bible yet deep enough for the seasoned Bible reader. You will read 3–5 chapters of Scripture each day, along with a brief daily commentary that will help you better understand what you have read, draw out those five themes in each day’s reading, and ultimately show you how those chapters point to Jesus.

Story of Redemption bundle | TDGC

Story of Redemption

Do you want to read the whole Bible in a year for the very first time? Would you like to read it alongside a short commentary that will help you understand what is going on in what you are reading? Then The Story of Redemption study is for you! Like A Year in the Bible, The Story of Redemption walks you through the entire Bible canonically from Genesis to Revelation. This is a perfect introduction into year-long Bible reading. The summary that goes along with each day’s Scripture is short enough to fit into a busy schedule while also remaining insightful. The study focuses on  the main events from the reading each day while helping you see how God’s story of redemption unfolds across the whole Bible.

Eden to Eternity Bundle | TDGC

Eden to Eternity

Have you read the Bible in a year before but want to read it again from a new perspective? Are you curious about how the events of Scripture occurred throughout history? Then Eden to Eternity is a great choice! Eden to Eternity is a study that walks you through the entire Bible chronologically. This offers a unique perspective to reading the Bible as it provides more of a historical approach and helps you see and understand how biblical events unfolded in real time. Like A Year in the Bible and The Story of Redemption, Eden to Eternity has about three chapters a day to read, as well as a summary of the chapters to go along with the readings.

Behold Bundle Study | TDGC

Behold

Do you want to read the Bible every day but don’t want to commit to reading the whole Bible in a year just yet? Does the New Testament feel more approachable to you than the Old Testament?

Behold might be just what you need! Behold is a study that walks you through the entire New Testament in one year, reading just one chapter each day. Because the daily reading is just one chapter, the content that goes along with each chapter helps you go deeper into the text and gain more understanding of what you read that day!

Christ in All of Scripture Bundle | TDGC

Christ in All of Scripture

Are you looking for more of an interactive approach to reading the Bible in a year? Then Christ in All of Scripture is just what you need! Christ in All of Scripture is unlike any other year-long study that we offer. Rather than reading one or multiple chapters per day, this study has you read and annotate one Old Testament and one New Testament passage each week. The purpose of this format is to show you that Jesus is on every page of the Bible and how the Old Testament not only connects to the New Testament, but how it is ultimately fulfilled by Christ.

If any of these studies sound appealing to you as you prepare for the next year, head to our website to purchase a set for yourself. It’s our prayer that through whatever year-long study you choose, you will grow in your love for God and His Word and form a regular rhythm of joyful Bible study.
