How to Pursue Discipleship When Life is Busy | Ep. 128
If you call yourself a follower of Christ, know this: you are called to discipleship. You are a disciple, and what we see in Scripture is that disciples make disciples. This is why discipleship is a common word used in Christian circles! Discipleship is not just for those in vocational ministry or for “super” Christians. It’s for all of us in Christ! But this can make us feel uncomfortable because our lives feel busy as it is. For many of us, it doesn’t just feel busy; our lives really are busy. We have many responsibilities to tend to! We may wonder: how can we pursue discipleship relationships when our lives feel so full?
Discipleship is worth our time and effort no matter how busy we are because it’s what the Lord has called us to. But discipleship also has tremendous benefits. It’s how we grow in Christlikeness; it deepens friendships; it spreads the gospel! But discipleship can look many different ways! In this episode, we talk about the benefits and the different ways discipleship relationships can look. We also give practical tips on how to pursue discipleship when life is busy.
