Learning from Those Who Are Ahead with Hunter Beless | Ep. 61

On today’s episode, we are joined by Hunter Beless, the host of the Journeywomen Podcast. Hunter loves to be discipled. She knows the importance of learning from women who are ahead on their faith journeys. In fact, the heart of the Journeywomen Podcast is to “offer gospel-centered conversations with mentors on the Christian life”. Hunter knows the deep value in having mentors on our journeys to glorify God.

Today, Hunter shares how she has been personally discipled and how that has impacted her own mission to disciple others. She talks about what learning from more mature believers can look like (hint: it doesn’t have to be weekly coffee dates with the Bible open!). Hunter shares the fruit that can come from doing life on life discipleship. In fact, that is how we can really imitate one another as we imitate Christ! Also, Hunter offers encouragement to those who feel like they don’t know how to find mentors and to those who are in busy seasons. We all benefit from being discipled by someone further along in the faith. We are called to be disciples and to make disciples! Come join our conversation.
