Should We Fear the End Times? | Ep. 84
On today’s episode, we talk about the end of the world. This is a topic that typically crosses people’s minds when there are endless waves of really hard things going on in the world, and 2020 is undoubtedly one of those times. So the questions come: are we in the end times? Should we be afraid? What actually leads up to the end times? Many of us can wrestle with different fears: fear of increased suffering or persecution; the fear of missing out on life experiences; the fear of impending judgment; and more. But believers can actually face the end times with a deep anticipation for the return of Christ!
In this episode, we offer a basic overview of how believers can interpret the end times. There are many nuances within each of these viewpoints (premillenialism, postmillenialism, amillienialsm), but we believe that this is not a doctrine that should divide the church. There are faithful, Bible-believing saints in every camp! However, the way we view the end times should change the way we live. Knowing Jesus can return at any moment, believers are compelled to a different way of life. We can anticipate the return of Christ with rejoicing, not fear!
