On today’s episode, we talk about the times in our lives when our sins are exposed. When it comes to our personal sins, we can find that we try to cover them up or ignore them. Or maybe we’re just not aware of some sins lingering in our hearts and lives! In general, we have the tendency to deny or undermine our sins because we don’t want to deal with the feelings of shame and judgment brought on by the awareness of our sins.
In today’s episode, we talk about why it’s actually good for our sins to be brought to light! We acknowledge that while it may be humbling, hard, and painful, exposure of our sins is actually a mercy. When we are made aware of our sins, we are invited to turn our eyes to the cross in repentance. Exposure of our sins is God’s kindness toward us as He purifies us into Christlikeness!
