Pens, highlighters, and sticky notes—oh my! These Bible study tools are not only beautiful—and just plain fun—they can also serve a purpose! Rather than randomly marking up your Bible, come learn how to use colors, marks, and notes to better know God and His Word.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Understand a few easy to use annotation techniques so you can dive deeper in your study of God’s Word
- Grow in your confidence to annotate by walking through helpful examples and participating in hands-on practice
- Be ready to set aside randomly highlighting and implement a Bible highlighting system that actually helps you better understand Scripture
Where do you run to get relief from anxious thoughts? Maybe you struggle to calm your swirling thoughts on your own or turn to the temporary relief provided by social scrolling, retail therapy, or ignoring problematic thoughts altogether.
There is a better way to handle anxious thoughts—by looking at what is true about God and how these truths impact the way we think.

- Be able to identify destructive thought patterns so you can deal with them before they grow out of control
- Know how God’s attributes affect the way you think about the everyday anxieties—big and small—that you encounter

You might have heard the phrase “identity in Christ” in church or read it on the pages of a book. But, what does it actually mean that Christ has made you a new creation? And how does your identity in Christ impact your everyday life?
The truth is there is no area of your life that the gospel doesn’t impact! Come learn what Jesus says about who you are and how you can live in light of this.

- Be reminded that your identity is found in Christ and not in your successes, failures, personality traits, or others’ perceptions of you
- Have a wholistic understanding of what Scripture says about your identity in Christ that will enrich your everyday relationship with Jesus
- Come away equipped to recognize and combat lies that you commonly believe about your identity, purpose, and value

Afternoon Workshops
Hard-to-love people can be found in every area of your life—your workplace, friend group, extended family, and even in your own home. How can you love these people well without losing your mind or your cool?
In this workshop, we’ll explore what the Bible says about loving others well.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Learn what it looks like to love others graciously and generously because Jesus first loved you
- Gain wisdom on how to to balance loving others well with setting healthy boundaries in your troublesome relationships
- Walk away with practical tips to implement the next time you encounter a difficult situation with a hard-to-love person
Do you ever wrestle with how to diligently serve God without seeking His approval through your work? Does your perception of God’s love for you fluctuate with your spiritual highs and lows?
Come learn how to let go of legalistic faith and embrace the life-giving grace found in the gospel.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Know how to identify the traits of legalistic faith and apply gospel-centered truths that will fight against the lies of legalism
- Understand how to live within your limits and establish rhythms of rest instead of constantly striving to do more
- Be catalyzed to work as worship to the Lord in response to His love and grace
Deconstruction has become a common phrase in the Church over the last few years. Perhaps you or someone you know is examining what they believe about God and His Word and working to reconstruct their faith.
This workshop will provide clarity and comfort by walking through the unshakeable truths of Scripture that can hold us steady in times of doubt and questioning.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Be comforted by seeing God’s care and compassion for those in a season of doubt in Scripture
- Know the steps to take to get answers to your biggest questions about God, the Bible, and Christianity
- Have a list of unchanging truths about God that you can reference and work through as you reconstruct your own faith or use to encourage others who are reconstructing theirs
When women find their place and use their gifts in the local church, everyone benefits! But, the list of reasons women don’t fully engage with their local churches is long: busy schedules, uncertainties about how to get involved, insecurities about our unique gifts, and previous hurtful experiences just to name a few.
Even though the list of reasons is long, the list of benefits from engaging in meaningful service in your local church is longer. Consider your next step towards using your gifts in the church in this workshop.

- Consider how to overcome the unique barriers you face to using your gifts in your church
- Be encouraged by the stories of busy women just like you who have learned how to serve in a way that is meaningful without burning out
- Come away with a few practical next steps you can take to start using your gifts in your church
As a Christian, you’ve likely had to choose between celebrating sin and self and celebrating Christ countless times. Maybe this choice arises for you as you scoll Netflix (what lines won’t I cross when consuming media?), as you make your weekend plans (is it okay to skip church again this week?), or as you chat with your unsaved neighbors (will I join in gossiping?)
In ways big and small, Christians must learn how to stand confidently countercultural.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Understand what it looks like to be a compassionate friend to the unsaved while confidently standing for Christ
- Have a framework for thinking through how to best respond to complex cultural issues Be reminded that Christ is worthy of being worshiped in every area of your life
Do sadness and grief have a place in your life as a believer? Or are they unwelcome intruders that you sweep under the rug? Every believer will encounter profound sadness in their life and it is for these moments that they need the language of lament.
By the end of this workshop you will:
- Learn what lament is, where you see it in Scripture, and why it matters
- Understand how to lament with God and others in the midst of this broken world
- Discover a better way to respond to sadness and grief than resorting to avoidance or other temporary coping methods
