There are a lot of great ideas in this Scripture Memory Guide. For example, everyone learns information and retains information in different ways. This booklet has several recommendations for memorizing scripture according to the different learning styles that I had not thought of before I memorized scripture. Scripture memory does require effort, but it is harder for a mind that dwells on the Word to be distracted or to have room for negative thoughts. I have memorized verses for a long time because the benefits are like taking medicine for the brain. Once thing I have struggled with is retaining a lot of the verses I have memorized. This book gives a great plan on how to commit the verses to long-term memory.
