This challengew as very enlightening. Going through it made me realize how I tend to make myself busy, even when I don't intend to. It's something that I will refer to in the future so that I don't stay in busyness and grow closer to God. I also liked how each day was short yet informative and thought provoking, Thank you DGC for creating this helpful challenge.
It is a good book to address the busyness that a lot of us have in our daily lives.
This study is so well done and thought provoking. Great guide to explaining the benefits of slowing down. I am a very recent empty nester and greatly apprectated this study.
I’ve had a really rough season (almost a whole year) of being chronically busy. I’ve known that it isn’t good for my faith with God and wasn’t healthy for my body, but struggled to reverse it. I’ve been working through this book as part of my Biblical Counseling and it’s been really helping me return back to God and reevaluate the intentions of everything I’m doing.
The chapters are very short which is helpful when trying to “Break Free From Busyness”. So it doesn’t take long to read each chapter, but each chapter is still packed full of reminders and tips. I haven’t even finished it yet and have already suggested it to 5 other women who also struggle with time
This book has been so good at helping me recognize how I need to slow down and how to do that.
