As always, this book is very nicely constructed and beautiful to look at. The encouragement is Biblically sound and points right back to Jesus, even including a description of what the gospel is at the end. The opening and closing blessings are so beautiful. I'm hoping for a part two with more specific prayers about singleness. The encouragement and Bible stories are wonderful, the bonus liturgies are great, and this book's mission to remind us that every woman has a place in the family of God regardless of her relationship status, is thoroughly accomplished. I'm hoping for a part two with liturgies more specific to the experiences and emotions of singleness! Daily Grace Co.'s prayer books and prayer cards are so helpful for other experiences, it would be great for a book that included how to pray through the unique roles and responsibilities of single women.

I am not a single woman now, but I was for many years (married late in life), so I can appreciate the challenges younger single women face. I bought this book to "check it out" before giving it to a single friend who is struggling. The chapters are short, so are easy to read even with limited time, and the reflection questions following each chapter are excellent. To say the least, I eagerly put this book into the hands of my friend,and her response after reading the first chapter confirmed my own response to the book: Every Christian single woman should read it!
