Christ in All of Scripture | A 52-Week Journey of Discovering Jesus on Every Page of the Bible Volume 4
Then he said to them, "These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
Luke 24:44–45
Did you know all of Scripture points to Jesus?
Have you been looking for a way to connect difficult passages to the gospel?
Do you feel like there’s more to the stories in Scripture than you see on the surface?
If you’re like many Christians, you might spend far more time in the New Testament than you do in the Old.
You’re not alone in feeling like the Old Testament is intimidating.
But these two testaments tell one story, and they are far more intertwined than we sometimes realize. That story begins in the Old Testament, and it contains numerous threads that run throughout and find their resolution in the New Testament.
Because of this, we cannot fully appreciate the New Testament without also appreciating the Old—and vice versa.
And standing at the center of this one story that unites both testaments is Jesus Christ.
He Himself is the main character and climax of the story begun in the Old Testament. For that reason, we can appropriately say that Jesus Christ is present in all of Scripture, not just a quarter of it.
Christ in All of Scripture Volume 4 covers weeks 40 through 52. The four volumes progress through the Old Testament canonically, with this volume covering select passages from the prophets beginning in Jeremiah and going through Malachi.
Special additions in this volume include explanations of specific prophecies in these books and how they point to Jesus, and a final week that guides you in reflecting on all that you have accomplished and learned.
The entire Bible is about Jesus, and when you see it for yourself, it will transform your understanding of not only God and His Word but also the work of His Son, Jesus Christ.
This is an invitation to change the way you read God's Word by seeing Jesus throughout it all.
