As with all my studies I get with Daily Grace, I love them and they help me understand verses that are difficult.

I finished reading this book within 2 days of receiving it. I could not put it down. Reading Kristin's story was such a balm to my own hurting heart, having known many losses and trials. The pages of my copy are surely tear stained! I felt like I was listening to a friend who understands how I feel and has struggled with the same questions, thoughts, and wreckage trauma often leaves in its wake. Kristin's writing is full of vulnerability and compassion. There are no empty platitudes in this book! My heart felt encouraged after reading the words of a fellow sister in Christ acquainted with suffering. I appreciated her honesty in telling her story. She doesn't pretend to have it all together and emphasizes the non linear journey that grief is, even for the Christian. She leaves the reader encouraged that Jesus is very present in every season. I am sure I will reach for this book again!
Everything I was looking for in a Bible. ESV, the room to journal, and plenty of references so I can learn more each time I read.
